St Patrick’s Festival Big Day Out

The St Patrick’s Festival Big Day Out, supported under the Science Foundation Ireland Discover Programme Call will take place this year on Sunday, 20 March 2016 from 12 noon to 6.00pm. Be sure to visit the Science Zone located between Merrion Square and the Merrion Hotel and consists of the following elements:

  • science shows (two shows alternating throughout the day)
  • workshops (two workshops for different ages – pre-bookings on the day)
  • a science fair (a range of interactive demonstrations)
  • drop in area with large scale maths puzzles and exhibits

The Science Zone is very popular and there is no admission charge so be sure to arrive early to avoid disappointment
